Community Birth Emergency Skills

Description: Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn essential emergency skills for childbirth in our community. 

Midwives, Birth Assistants, and Student Midwives, and generally anyone who wants to learn or brush up on some mad birth skills come spend the day with us.

Topics could include (but not all):

IV and Injections

Newborn Exam

Umbilical Cord Prolapse

Shock

Hemorrhage/EBL/clots-manual removal/bimanual compression/Placentas

Shoulder Dystocia

911 scripts

 

DF, GF, Vegan lunch will be included in the fee.

Total cost, including lunch and all supplies is $250.

***Partial and full scholarships are available for BIPOC***
